True to form, the Big Apple didn’t fail to deliver

NRF BIG SHOW

Here at Intrepid, we’ve just about recovered from our recent trip to New York, attending the National Retail Federations Big Show 2023. And what a trip it was!  Being there among the 35,000 attendees, supporting our partner Indyme, alongside our industry colleagues and friends was awesome (as they say out there).

It being America, everything was bigger and better, with the NRF (the world’s largest retail organization) really pulling out all the stops to ensure everyone came away inspired about the amazing developments we’re seeing in the retail industry.

It was especially great to see so much interest in our Freedom Case and to tell even more people about how it’s revolutionising the concept of locked merchandise.

For retailers who are facing the double whammy of rising costs and increasing rates of theft, Freedom Case really struck a chord. The labour-saving benefits and the lack of need for keys were particularly well received – as was the fact that the cases give all the benefits of safeguarding your high-value merchandise but without customers being discouraged to purchase by having to find a member of staff to open the Case for them.

A key theme at the show was ‘quality of customer experience’ so it’s no surprise this point went down so well.

We’ve come back tired but excited about what we heard from our US retail colleagues, and it was good to chat and compare notes on market developments.

But, never ones to relax, we’re already planning our next excursion – this time to the brilliant EuroShop which is being held in Dusseldorf at the end of February. If you’re going along too, let us know!
