Despite their effectiveness in combatting theft, locked cases often result in poor customer experiences. Indyme's research, including mystery shopping and surveys, highlights the challenges retailers face with locked stock.

How does the Freedom Case work?

Customers access locked merchandise by using their phone number, a retailer’s app, or a loyalty card.

They can also seek assistance from a store colleague.

Once open, Freedom Case tracks shopping behaviours like item removal, access frequency, and door open duration. If suspicious activity is detected, it triggers local alarms and optionally notifies store staff.

By individually identifying users and recording their behaviour, Freedom Case empowers honest shoppers while deterring potential offenders.

Leverage cutting-edge technology

Indyme's specialised AI technology powers Freedom Case, monitoring behaviors in real time. Using sensor fusion, it detects suspicious activity and activates Active Deterrence through its speaker and touchscreen.

Store associates receive alerts, and stocking occasions are monitored to prevent internal theft. Retailers can access detailed data, photos, and videos of suspicious events. Indyme's AI enables "Targeted Friction," granting self-service to loyal customers while deterring offenders.
