Description Perfect for sites requiring a high level of security. Doors are secured with a separate reader and control unit. The control unit should be positioned internally or on the 'safe' side of the door to prevent tampering. The system is scalable and is therefore suitable for small to medium sized premises. Access privileges are programmed at each door using Paxton Access' token management packs and is a straightforward process. Switch 2 control units have read in/out capability that can support a reader on either side of the door. This means that a reader can replace an exit button.This restricts the use of doors to authorised users only, perfect for sites that look after vulnerable people. Switch 2 control units also have a flexible relay output that can be used to switch any type of device including the Energy saving reader, motorised gates/barriers and non essential services.
